Post #2: Design Justification

I chose a simple layout for my blog because I don't like when things look busy and complicated, I like when things look simple. I chose the dark forest background because I generally gravitate more towards dark colors and since my favorite color is black I decided that the creepy forest background is a good fit for my style. I chose white for the body of the blog because I like the way the posts bleed into the body of the blog since both are white. I also wanted to create a nice contrast to the dark background and the white makes it look nice and clean. I chose the courier font for my description because I've always thought it was a pretty font and I love the way it looks like it was typed on a typewriter and I chose a simple font for my blog title because I feel like anything else wouldn't have matched well with the font of my description.
