Post #14: Burns Supper

For the Burns Supper, I decided to wear a creative costume.  I wore a tartan overall dress, which sort of took the place of a kilt.  When researching traditional kilt uniforms I noticed that many of the outfits included a white top, white socks, and black shoes, so I implemented all of those into my outfit.  I also noticed that many of the people wearing the uniform have a small sort of bag around their waist.  I decided to create a bag that mimicked the shape of the ones I saw while researching and I also added tassels to help with the look.

Post #16: Final Blog Reflection

Taking the AP Lit exam was a very nerve wrecking experience for me because I wasn't completely sure that I was prepared for it. There was still a lot I personally needed to work on regarding articulating complexity in my essays and having an overall understanding of what the prompt is asking me to do. Even though I was very nervous going in, I felt very confident coming out of the exam. I think that I had a better understanding of certain things than I was giving myself credit for and I knew that all I can do is write the best that I can. I liked the prompts that were given although I felt like the prose passage was a little difficult to analyze because I felt like there wasn't a lot to analyze but I know I'm probably wrong about that and there was more I didn't see.
